I've been using the 2022 version of this calendar and have loved it, so I was really happy to see a 2023 version come out.The big selling point here is obviously the collection of sticky notes right next to the calendar itself. It's an ingenious idea since, at least for me, I'm often looking at what's coming up on the calendar and something I see causes me to write a note for myself. This way, the notes are right there, and I don't have to go to a drawer or take up some of my valuable counter space. There is a short included pencil in an elastic holder, but I view that as more of a bonus because it'll basically disappear after a few sharpenings, though I suppose it's handy if your calendar is mounted away from where you keep your pens.The 2023 calendar actually starts in October 2022. This is an extra month from the 2022 calendar, and is the only difference between that version and this year's (besides the year depicted, obviously).The calendar can be hung via a reinforced hole at the top, or mounted on a metal surface via two magnets on the back that each measure about 3"x11".I initially had some trouble getting clean rips along the perforations, but I discovered that's only with the cover and the first month. Once they are off the remaining pieces of them serve as a sort of guide for the rest of the pages to rip off cleanly. So just take your time ripping off the cover and the first month, or you'll be dealing with a jagged edge all year.
