I was desperately looking for a "small", inexpensive yet sturdy bookshelf for my cookbooks. This bookshelf was easy to assemble without tools and has space for 28 cookbooks. Despite being made of cheap materials, it looks good. Two complaints. Each shelf has a very visible layer of veneer that wraps around the edge. Not a great look, but since most people like me mount it on a wall, this defect is easy to hide. What disappointed me the most was that I ordered one of the two tone bookshelves because I liked the pictures, but the black one was delivered to me. Although it frustrates me, it's not worth returning this unit to get what I really wanted (the fault is with the Revain camp, not the manufacturer). But this device looks great in my dining room displaying some of my cookbooks! Several visitors to my home complimented my new piece of furniture and were surprised to find out how much I paid for it. It pays to expand your home!
