These are not iron plates as some people claim. There's a thick velcro on the back and I'm not sure how you would attach it to anything, maybe glue. The description says the back is velcro so I wasn't sure what that means but it's taped to the neckline and the patch is attached with velcro. So two parts each. It also makes it very thick, which I don't need. The patch photo itself is ok. One of my Hufflepuffs has a slightly distorted face, but the others look normal. I need them for pillows so they won't work for my project, but this might work for you if you want velcro.
