So I have three large multi-cookers on ONE cable. Thank God. I don't have a lot of "plot" in my kitchen and every inch counts. This block was a few inches narrower than any other 2.5 Krug block (I spent hours comparing) so it fits exactly where I was hoping. I have donated other items which it replaces. It's visually appealing. Disadvantage: Allow more time for your meals than recommended. It's not a problem in itself, once you've used it you can set it up fairly easily and find the time for it. The position of the lids is normal, but it would be better if they were hinged. so that the lid can be lowered with them. So when checking the cooking of a dish or serving it, just lift it up and TADA (no fumbling to put the hot lid back on). However, it's still a useful feature. I'm making soup today. I started cooking the beans on low last night so they absorb what they need and this morning I added the remaining ingredients. I will try the bread too. keep for updates
