I bought these because I couldn't afford the more expensive Lumiarc canisters I got for free at the store. They seemed *almost* identical. (almost) I WAS very happy with these containers as they are perfect for my lunch, the lids snap tight and seal well, you can even bring soup etc. But then I reheated something in just two minutes and completely deformed one from the lid. :-/ Two minutes shouldn't be enough to ruin one of these lids, especially when they're dishwasher safe. No contact with food, therefore no burning/melting problems. Quite sad as it was the best size to fit snugly in the bottom of my insulated lunch bag and the perfect "full lunch" sized container. So these are great glass containers and compared to glass they're a lot better than the Lumiarc but the lids don't compare at all.
