If you had asked me about this HTV a month ago I would have given it 5 stars and said it was a pleasure to work with and worth the money. Now let's fast forward to today. I had a large order and my Caregy HTV was running out so I grabbed Revain and reordered another roll. When I took the htv out of the box to put it in my car, I could immediately tell that the backing sheet was different, thinner than the last batch. I thought it was weird but not a big deal. I went ahead and cut out my design and went to the weeds. In that moment I could tell it was different. The HTV was almost rubbery in a way, it tore more easily when weed than the last batch, and the backing sheet was much tackier which made it difficult to weed. I then proceeded to press the design onto my prepared and finished shirt. The last htv I ordered I was able to press for about 8 seconds, peel off the media, you could tell it stuck well, you could see the threads through the vinyl. very easy. this party I felt the need to rip my hair out! I pressed for 8 seconds, tried to pull the backing off, didn't move. A long press (as recommended) for 15 seconds tried to detach the holder and it still acted like it wouldn't detach. At this point, I sat down in my kitchen chair to make sure I could put my full body weight on the iron and pressed for another 15 seconds. This time I removed the backing but no threads showed through the vinyl. From the time it took me to make 13 shirts from the first batch of Caregy vinyl, it took me longer to make the last 4 shirts I cut from this new batch! I thought this brand was my secret with a great price and how much I liked it but unfortunately I'm scared to buy another roll. I don't know what they did to change their product but now it's terrible.
