Returning this item after a serious attempt. The cords themselves are a nice color but are very stiff and stiff. No other fabric-covered braided USB cable I've owned has been this stiff, won't bend or scratch. However, the reason for the return is the electrical crackling/popping sound that all three cables make every time I unplug my phone from them. I have NEVER had a charging cable and am worried it may have damaged one of my phones more than it already did. If you unplug the cable first and then unplug the USB-C side from the phone, there is no noise. It only crackles when I disconnect the USB-C from the phone while the other end is plugged into an outlet for charging.
