The stand itself looks beautiful, assembly wasn't as difficult as some reviews say - I'm a woman and I assembled it in 10-15 minutes. The biggest issue with the stand is that after setting it up I worked at my desk for a few days and got severe neck pain that I'm still suffering from a week later. Space under my desk allowed, but I use a 27-inch iMac, so the top half of my screen is still above my eye level. I've tried minding my neck/head position and putting the apps and browser window in the lower half of the monitor, but that's not entirely rational as I'm now forced to use only half of my large screen in a sense big screen when I can't use the whole screen? After a few days, the pain in my neck didn't go away, I turned the stand over and put my monitor on the bottom of the bottom shelf of the stand. I really liked it. And now, when I use the stand upside down for a few days, not only does the neck pain not go away, it hurts so much, it affects my life. The reason I only gave the stand 1 star is to warn future buyers that while the product itself is great, depending on your height, the height of your desk and monitor, and how much time you need, might not work you spend at your desk. I hope this helps someone avoid the physical pain I am currently experiencing simply because I liked the look and feel of this product.
