1 to 5 stars: Appearance: 4 Realistic for the ad image: 5 Usability: 3 Material quality: 5 It looks amazing, just like the ad (see ). Although the adhesive side is a typical plastic sticker material, the graphic surface has a more attractive texture, similar to cloth, rather than the smooth and shiny of a sticker (see image #2). This skin is also thicker than a typical sticker, probably as thick as two or three sheets of notepad. The only negative about it is a very thin (about a millimeter wide) light green border around the entire perimeter of the skin. If left uncut, it blends less into the laptop and looks more like a sticker pasted on top. When I cut it to fit my laptop, it's obvious that the brim has come off at the edge I cut with it. So now there are 3 sides with a thin border and one without. I tried cropping it after the fact but as you can see in photo #3 it got even worse. If you do need to resize, I suggest you trim all four sides evenly, removing the border entirely, rather than taking all of the slack from one side like I did. I'll know next time. Small parts for the inside of the laptop also have this bezel. Applying the leather is tricky and the instructions are minimal at best (basically it says cut and glue). As with any large sticker, it is difficult to align with the edges of the laptop and lay flat. I still have air bubbles that I haven't been able to compress to the brim. If they don't clear up on their own, I have to poke them out with a needle.
