Works surprisingly well! Such a money saver!

BENEFITS: • Extends the shelf life of most expired groceries, unlike plastic storage bags which significantly shorten shelf life • Using fewer plastic bags creates a cleaner, safer environment • Saves on gas and frequent trips to the grocery store, so you can use more groceries buy and stock at once without worrying about spoiled food being thrown away after a few days. • Less discarded spoiled food means more money savings Liquid, extends shelf life and minimizes spoilage • Vents in lid regulate airflow and minimize moisture build-up (bacterial breeding ground) inside • Conveniently stacks on top of each other to take up less refrigerator space for storing other items Key Features • Can be changed without a filter like some other storage containers • Lid is not flat but raised to accommodate more food, although not recommended • Promotes a healthier diet Eat fruits and veggies that a few will spoil would take days • Easy to wash and clean CONS: • Poor seal, condensation and moisture sometimes builds up on the inside top of the lid causing water to spill onto the food • All 2.5 cups ordered came with a sticky coating (like on the last bi ld) that was difficult to wipe off • Suitable for some foods, but other foods spoil within a few days. TIPS: • Follow the instructions on the container and never wash it. Food before storage • If there is moisture in the original packaging, dry it with paper towels before storage • Store food immediately after bringing it home from the grocery store for better storage • It is not recommended to use the container to overfill allow for better air circulation • When buying food, always choose the freshest and newest so it lasts longer TEST 1 (Asparagus) • Asparagus has been stored for 13 days, almost 2 full weeks, with no moisture or browning of the tips • Tips the most desirable Places and usually go bad at first, but don't • Might last much longer, but it's time to eat them TEST 2 (Roman lettuce) • Lasts 10 days from first storage with no mold or dry leaves, unlike plastic bags that hold the leaves much softer and moldy within a week • Some of the leaves were not as crispy as when originally opened and eaten, soft and limp • Minimal discoloration TEST 3 (cucumbers) • Lasted only a few days • Worsened by day 4 with mold and moisture development • Waste of money and discarded spoiled food • Huge disappointment in this test, what could otherwise be expected be better TEST 4 (Raspberry) • Lasts 6 days • No mold, bruises or slime stains, but not as hard as day one • Longer shelf life than original plastic packaging
