Review on Amzpas Stainless Steel Loop Mesh Magnetic Adjustable Wristband for Fitbit Inspire 2, Inspire HR, Inspire & Ace 2 - Breathable, Small Size, Rose Gold, Women's and Men's Compatible Bands by Brad Wall

The word "dangerous" in the title is not an advertisement. Here's my assessment. What I like: - Champagne color. Nicely muted, neutral (for my skin tone), with a softer brightness than stainless steel but not as harsh as gold. I wish I could find it among the competition. - The band feels strong but is quite a comfortable weight. - I had no skin irritation from it. - It is often submerged in water. I've had it for several months and so far there hasn't been any water damage. I haven't had any major issues with the classic Fitbit strap, but it's definitely more comfortable. BUT, to me, none of that makes up for its very nasty flaws: the parts that attach the strap to the Fitbit are painted plastic, not metal, and they *definitely* look like it. This spoils the nice look of the trellis. The paint on the plastic parts scratches easily, and after a few months it's starting to look shabby (I'm also annoyed because, among other things, I wanted metal so as not to dump more plastic into some landfill hill or ocean surf). - Often and more and more frequently, the tiny loops of stitches get caught in the fabric at the edges and create tension in my clothes. - My biggest complaint though is that the "clasp" is actually a magnet. 1) With just a small magnet to keep it "attached" to my wrist, the bracelet sometimes physically detaches or even detaches from my hand. my fridge, my laptop or, as you can see in the attached photo, a KITCHEN KNIFE, the clasp detaches from my wrist and sticks to the object in my hand. A friend bought the same Fitbit mesh band at the same price from another seller on Revain and has no problem with the magnet. To be honest I was hoping g would make it work because I love the color so much. But I'm done. This item is too damaged to store. ATTENTION SELLER: If the magnetization defect is only on my band and not on others, I would be happy about a replacement and revise my rating.
