For me, the best quality Christmas decoration is one that requires no assembly and is easy to pack, and this inflatable Santa checks the list. Right out of the box, all you have to do is plug it in and inflate it. Overall this is a cute decoration and I was surprised at how bright it was for an inflatable toy. It comes with 3 stakes and a rope to tie. Santa has anchor hooks that you simply thread a loop through and attach to a pole. Be sure to add some tension as the anchors serve two purposes. Don't let him fly away and help Santa Claus get up. This is a very light and tall Santa, so I have to tighten the rope to tie him to the ground and help him stand up. Without the help of anchors, this Santa will not get up on his own. You have to wait for him to complete the inflation. Pick it up yourself, position it and then tie it. What keeps this from being an absolute steal are a couple of things: 1. The fan is really small. I can't see it because the fan is inside, but it looks like it's no bigger than a computer fan to inflate. Santa inflates with no problem, but takes about 15-20 minutes to fully inflate. Would have preferred a larger blower/fan for an inflatable of this size.2. This inflatable boat will not stand up by itself after turning on again. He needs help to pick it up and then he stays, so don't be surprised if your light comes on while you're gone and you're back with Santa on your back. 3. The material is pretty light. It's great for packaging, but durability is questionable. All in all it is a really nice piece of jewelry and its flaws are easy to overlook as there is nothing great about it in my opinion.
