Please don't waste your money

I never write reviews. Never. For that I need something really convincing. This fan is. First, it's cheap production. My new fan was well presented with a number of manufacturing defects in both design and workmanship. The original transmitter did not work. WAC support not working. They sent me a different receiver but I had to keep looking for it. After a few weeks I finally got it. The design is appealing, but the wiring is an absolute disaster. Even my electricians had serious wiring problems. Really unacceptable. The materials are cheap. The bottom shaft of my fan got scratched because the setup was so tight (plural) and also because normal hardware doesn't work with this fan. So buyers pay attention. The spinning ball was so badly scratched that it had to be repaired. Are you kidding me? How much does this fan cost? The app is a disaster. It crashes, firmware has to be constantly updated, pairing was a nightmare, fans automatically disappear from the list, well. Wireless detection was just as terrible. Good idea, so much work needed. I have 5 Modern Forms fans and a BAF haiku at home. These two things are not the same! The implementation and design of BAF is much better. When you spend that much on a fan, buy Haiku 10/10 times, the choice is yours. It's not even a close comparison. Every one of my MF fans shakes and rattles after level 2 or 3. The airflow from each of these fans pales in comparison to both the Haiku and every Minka Aire fan I've replaced with an MF fan. Avoid this brand at all costs. This is my opinion. What a terrible waste of time and money.
