Still working but lower quality type of safety eyelet

I crochet a lot of stuffed animals for gifts so I bought 8-18mm safety eyes on Amazon from several sellers. I noticed that there are 2 types. One has smooth sides, a rounded bottom (as shown on this product page, which is misleading) and the washer is white. and a translucent brown washer. In the attached picture the smaller one is a 9mm diameter Darice security tab and the larger one is 12mm. The bottom line is that both types work, but the smoother type is easier to work with (it doesn't snag the yarn when I pull it over a stuffed animal's head),
