I'm so glad I ordered this as the weather was getting cold and I only had these knit hats and gloves from Walgreens (no shade). I knew I needed something for my neck and my face because sometimes the winter wind is like needles when it blows furiously in your face. The set is solid but not heavy. The hat and neck warmer are trimmed with a nice layer of 'fur', while the gloves have grippy pads that allow you to hold a doorknob and operate a mobile phone. This will also be a good gift. you would love it
