Sorry for the picture, it's totally wrong. It seems that these lamps are specially designed for my home. Runs straight across the front from left to right to the end. I just stapled them right under the cornice so the LEDs stick out a bit. The lights themselves aren't particularly customizable, but there are so many modes/patterns you can switch and you'll likely find the one you need for different holidays. The picture shows flashing red and green for Christmas, there are also red and white (Valentine's Day), red and blue (July 4th), and orange/purple for Halloween, or you can make a solid color (16 colors to choose from). The lighting is VERY bright and the colors are great (the photo doesn't show them very well due to the weird camera lighting). The wires and LEDs are transparent so they are almost invisible during the day when the lights are off, perfect for constant lighting. Be careful when using a stapler as it easily sews up wires. It's so nice not to risk your life anymore by putting up Christmas lights every year. It was just what I needed and for $30 it's hard to beat. This is probably my favorite Amazon purchase of all time.
