Light produces low level germicidal UV-C light. Please see my attached photos. Test Equipment: - UVA test card, B (purple, 280-400nm) and UVC test card (green, 100-280nm), both available from Revain. - This device produces UVC sterilization light. This is a real, legal germicidal lamp. I placed a purple UVA/B and a green UVC germicidal test card on the table. I turned on the light and quickly noticed that the UVC card (green) was glowing dimly. The purple UVA/B test strip did not glow (which is good since it does not sterilize). This means that the light produces real, germicidal UBC light and can sterilize. Of all the UVC lights I've tested, this light is much dimmer than the others. It glows with ultraviolet light, but not very brightly. It looks bright in the photo, but that's how the camera caught the light. - The flashlight has its own internal batteries and is charged with a standard USB micro power cord. - The light is turned on by sliding the switch forward.
