So I ignored the other negative reviews and bought these anyway hoping they were wrong and just didn't know what they were doing.PROS: The only positive quality of these foil curtains is that they look beautiful. They almost have a glitter look to them.CONS: Pain in the rear to put up! first of all, it took two of us to put them up. The self-adhesive strip on the back is totally worthless. I put them up and within an hour they were on the floor. I had to use my own tape and the back. At first, I tried blue painter's tape as I didn't want to mar the wall. That didn't hold. The foil was too heavy. Then I used scotch tape and hoped that didn't rip the paint off the wall. While putting them up several of the foil strands just tore right off and I had to tape them back onto the top piece otherwise there would have been huge gaps in the curtain. They need some kind of reinforcement strip at the top so they don't tear apart as once the foil starts to tear it just keeps going.They sat in my closet for 3 months before I needed to use them, otherwise, I would have returned them. I would not recommend them and I would not buy this type again.
