I thought it was 3 separate boards with boxes that can be stacked on top of each other, turns out they are separate. Yes No. This is 1 deep box with 3 layers. Not exactly what I needed. But in my opinion, more attention should have been paid to that when comparing prices and products. I need lots and lots of claws. My cat has a second kitten. 1 extra deep doesn't help. And I can take them out, but without the box under the layers, the catnip is just right. Spring. I'll take a closer look next time. As for the product itself, the layers are thinner, they should stay in the box, which is moderately strong. Unless your cat is a destructive machine designed to kill. my lol The catnip looks a bit decrepit and the box has a chemical smell. I let the air out on the porch, hoping the sun would burn it out.
