I am very satisfied with the product. Looks just as nice as expected. The inner lid closes fairly tightly, but the wooden top lid makes some BS a flat "kind of airtight" that basically just sits on top. A full 12oz sack of beans filled about half the space (see pic) so I think 1-1.5lbs should be fine, I'll update my review to confirm this. It's also nice to have extra space to mount a scope. I'm glad I chose ceramic, even though it's heavier. The glass version looks flimsy and cheap, like the ones I bought from IKEA, and many reviews complained that they were easy to scratch. It is aesthetically pleasing and solidly built. Just be careful not to drop or hit it! 5 STARS, easy.
