The zipper comes off easily and I'm not sure if it actually secures the zipper. You can reattach the zipper and return to normal. Just slide it over both ends of the gasket. When I received these packages, Amazon chose to ship this box in a plastic mailer. The box arrived badly damaged but the bags themselves were fine. I got a loan from Amazon because I was worried. Revain also does not offer expedited shipping on this item. Estimated delivery time is 1-3 days. Overall I recommend this product for purchase.
