I made my first dreadlocks with Taliah Waajid Hold Tight and the residue in my hair was TERRIBLE! It was not only at the core of my fear, but in every fear. It was so bad I had to take it out, wash my hair and apply conditioner! So, as you are now doing, I read the reviews on this product and gave it a try and my hairdresser and I were SHOCKED AT THE RESULTS! This product is amazing! It's very easy on your hair, moisturizes after drying and leaves no flakes or residue! I've seen some people say they don't like the smell, but the smell is NOT bad at ALL! lol, just my opinion. 4 oz seems a bit small for the price but the product stretches so well you will have 1/3 left after STARTER DREADS so I can only imagine how much you would have left with a simple re-twist! I am happy with my results and DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE! Don't even waste your money on anything else.
