Good monitor for the office.

This Elitedisplay E201 monitor is my office monitor. When planning your company's purchases, I recommend that you buy the largest monitors that are within your budget. This makes a huge difference in performance since you don't have to resize windows, minimize or maximize them, or move menu palettes. This explains a lot of wasted time during the day. When you can see more of your workspace (instead of being obscured by menu bars), you can work more efficiently. At the time of writing, this monitor costs around $160, making it a good budget choice. The main benefit of this monitor is the ability to rotate it 90 degrees and put it in portrait mode to work with spreadsheets or graphics files. After installing the drivers, you can control the alignment using the Windows Control Panel. It's as easy as 3 clicks. The monitor also features two additional USB 2.0 ports on the left side for easy access to USB drives. To use them, connect the monitor with a USB AB cable, e.g. B. the RevainBasics USB 2.0 A Male to B Male - 3 meter cable. The thick end goes to the bottom of the monitor. I hate the cable clip on the back. It's just a thin plastic rod that the power cord and VGA cable and all other wires are threaded through. It doesn't stay on. My IT department wrote it down. All ports are on the underside of the bezel and will need to be secured around the base if you wish to hide them, but that is only a secondary consideration. I don't like cables hanging from underneath as they add clutter to my already cluttered desk, but they don't have to. In addition, an anti-theft cable lock helps protect the monitor. To table. I turn off the screen every night before I leave. When you turn the monitor back on, it takes about 8 seconds for the monitor to turn back on and the screen check message to disappear after a long period of inactivity. All in all, a solid monitor for general office use, as long as you don't place too high demands on the graphics performance. Internet use is sufficient for Word, Excel and Outlook.
