Incredible sound and price

I've bought several highly rated budget Chi-Fi in-ear headphones from KZ, Auglamore and others just to see what you can get for less than $50 can get. I also have 1More dual and triple drivers and a few other high end in-ear headphones. I love comparing and seeing what quality you can buy for little money. I read reviews about the S2000 and decided to give it a try. I mean for $25 why not. I recently bought these and hooked them up to my iFi Nano iDSD Black DAC/Amp to see what Advanced Sound had to offer. I started with a few Enya tracks because I like seeing their presence and soundstage. Wow! These in-ears are pretty small and very comfortable, but they sound like something much more substantial. Bass and sub-bass are rich and powerful without being overwhelming. The overall clarity and detail from bass to treble is insanely good. Two small observations are that the male vocals are a bit muffled compared to the bass and treble and sometimes certain treble frequencies can be very bright at high volumes. But that's pretty picky as the overall listening experience is truly amazing. I've also tried some hi-res classical, rock, and jazz tracks from Tidal and Spotify with consistent results. The instruments have a very lively sound. As I listened to the jazz trio, I heard the sound of the bow on the bass strings, and the superb soundstage gave me a sense of presence. This is my second Advanced Sound product and I am very happy with both. The S2000 beats my entire budget to my ears and sounds almost as good or better than anything I've bought in the $100-$200 range. i really enjoy it Many thanks to Advanced Sound for the excellent quality and value for money.
