My 5 month old has been using it for over a month now. It's better than I expected. It doesn't get sticky and rough like I thought it would. It's the perfect size and flexible enough. It has no strange odor. When I hold it, she grabs it greedily and it goes in her mouth. As you'd expect from a rubber teether, this gives it a "bang for your buck" so it might not provide enough relief during those tough teething days. I have wooden teethers that work better if she really wants to bite hard and relieve her gums. Ultimately, I would call this a "gammer". This will provide some relief, but be aware that if you really want to soothe your baby's gums, you will need firmer teethers.
