Review on Logitech G G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, Black by Wiktor Wiater ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

The mouse is not for gaming. Only for ACAD applications and 3D modeling (Tribon, Foran, Cadmatic, AVEVA, etc.). Absolutely all mice (both 1st (series 910-002865) and 2nd (series 910-003623) revisions) have a software flaw. I'll tell you my history: I bought 3 MICE! In two different stores. After the appearance of the bug (described below) on the 1st mouse (1st revision of the mouse), I wrote to Logitech. They said that the mouse should be replaced in the store under warranty. Because already a month has passed after use, the mouse had to be taken to the service store. Two weeks later, the service confirmed the bug, and concluded that the mouse was beyond repair. Replaced with the same new mouse (1st revision). Brought to work - the same thing. I immediately took it to the store and returned the money. Because with this dollar exchange rate, I no longer hoped to buy a mouse for a more / less reasonable price (4500, when they cost 7000 everywhere) - I thought that I would get by with my X7. But I found a mouse of the second revision (where you can ate the firmware) in another store at the old price. As a result: the 3rd mouse has already been bought - the problem is the same. Autocad users will understand. In this program, holding down the central mouse button - moving around the drawing field. Double click - general zoom. Therefore, it is impossible to use this mouse at the same time using more macros in memory. Yes, and the wheel here is a little tight. If it's stupid to assign simple commands to programmable keys, then everything works. BUT! Software bug. So I hope someday this will be fixed. Now a detailed explanation of the bug: If you record any macro containing pressing Enter - a "double click" appears on the central button (click on the wheel) and on the side clicks of the wheel. It is treated either on / off the mouse, or on / off the Logitech Gaming Software application. You can easily check this: in G-Shift mode, change the "left mouse click" to Enter - and try to use it. Then you can go to "Profile Testing" in the Logitech Gaming Software and check your double click.

Pros
  • -A large number of buttons with a "buggy" ability to record macros on them. Forget about using the middle mouse button (click on the wheel) and side clicks on the wheel due to a double click (when using a macro). If you don't use macros, everything will work. More details in the comments. -Ergonomics for an amateur. Not to say it's not convenient. But I can’t say that the hand falls like a glove either. My hand is between medium and large. -Beautiful backlit keys - The surface is something like a soft touch, nice enough. -The presence of the G-shift key - Teflon feet -Quality accurate laser -Balanced weight
Cons
  • A software bug that I will describe in a comment. If you do not use macros (command execution sequences) - you can not read the comments. Just buy. When using the G-shift button, you must first release the "combined" button, and only then release the G-shift itself. Otherwise, both macros will work.
