Review on Holly Cotton Placemats from Maison Hermine by Jeremy May

Two years ago I was looking for a tablecloth of a certain size. I've searched both online and in stores for several months but haven't found anything. I contacted Maison d'Hermine to see if they stocked the size I needed. They regretted that this was not the case. Shortly after finding out about this I received an email that they can indeed make me a size I need no matter if it doesn't match the sizes they sell. I was delighted and shocked to say the least. What company today says no we don't make what you're looking for and then says we custom make the size you need?! Nobody but Maison d'Hermione. A few days later I received an email asking for my shipping address. I was stunned again. I gave them the address and asked how much it would cost. I was told it was a "gift" and they just wanted my address. Talk about shock! I was so stunned. Of course I gave them my information and was very pleased when they showed up perfect and on time for my Thanksgiving. In a world where kindness seems rare, I've been reminded that from time to time kindness is shown and given when I least expect it. I've since bought napkins and serviettes. The patterns are beautiful. The quality of the material is top notch and the friendly service is top notch. I will always be grateful and devoted to Maison d"Hermine.
