I bought this to replace the factory cable, pleased that it has a volume control and mic. It worked fine for a few months and then the beeping started intermittently. I emailed the seller about the problem and they promptly shipped a new unit with no questions asked. So while the cable itself was a bummer, the response from customer support when I asked them about it was fantastic. Hopefully the new cable won't be doing the same thing in a few months.
