approx I'm sure most of you want to know if this is a good deal and if it really works. My answer is yes! This bow is cheaply made but it's a great deal. 6 dollars? It's worth it. I didn't have a key to open the battery compartment. A little frustrated as this is a special two point deal but I'm sure I can open it in other ways. The lens body is hard plastic and the electronics consist of (2) LEDs for each lens and (3) position switches with an off in the middle. The weak point is the aluminum cover where the loop is attached to the screws that hold it together. It's not contrived, just feels a little unprofessional. What do you want for $6, right? As for the lens. They are fantastic and work as described. I can't measure the actual increase, but I can say that they both do their job very well. The outer edges of the larger lens are a little softer, but it helps if the lens is held perpendicular to the object being viewed. I can tell you that with the smaller lens I was able to see the hair follicles clearly and it looks like I'm looking through a microscope. I can see the smallest details of hair and skin.
