Review on Ultimate Steampunk Chic: The Pirate Dressing’S High-Low Show Girl Skirt by Jonathan Waritani

I bought a skirt like this but in black, a couple of years ago and have used it for cosplay two years in a row. I thought I was purchasing the exact same skirt, but in white for this year. However, when this item arrived, I realized that it's MUCH better quality than my black one. This is heavier fabric and hangs better than the black one. It does come a little rumpled from packaging, so I threw it in the dryer for a few minutes with a damp towel, and boy what a difference that made! My main reason for the pairing is a little paranoia that the skirt may be a bit see-through. My husband assures me that it's not, even out in natural light, but why take chances?One word of caution: the white is not as WHITE as I was hoping it'd be. It's not as bright white as my corset, but it does match some of the other whiteish accessories I'm using. All in all, it all ties together well. I do wish I'd gone down a size when ordering as it's a little roomy. However, going under a corset you can't tell that.Hope this helps!
