Control knob works. I have run many kilometers with them and they do not fall out. Excellent quality cable. These are supposed to be "open-back" headphones, but I honestly don't think they are. They have better noise isolation than my other headphones (Skullcandy, Sony Sport, the headphones that came with my phone). This might be bad for people who run outside and need to be aware of their surroundings, but I run on a treadmill so I really enjoy it. It blocks out most of the noise around me so I can hear my own music. At first I only bought them for training, but now I wear them to the library and on public transport. They block noise and keep noise out. The rubber pieces keep them in place so I never have to adjust them. The sound quality is pretty good and the soundproofing makes it even better.
