My dog only chews on toothbrushes when you're trying to use them, so we've relied on various brands of 'chewable toothpaste' to keep our breath fresh. His last visit to the vet for a full teeth cleaning ended with the removal of 3 front teeth. So we had to take his dental health much more seriously. We put a drop on his gums every night and use the recommended toothpaste (OraVet) and since then the vet says his teeth are MUCH better. Added bonus: His breath no longer smells like death. Bonus: 4 months later and this bottle is still full.
