Review on KUBOOZ Ear Weights: The 👂 Ultimate Heavy Stretched Hangers and Tapers by Melanee Deal

Good things first: What an attractive and solid product! The earrings/ear weights I received were even prettier and more stylish than they looked on screen. They have something like glitter that appears flat on the screen. Surprisingly heavy weight - perfect for stretching the piercing without being too bulky. I was so excited to try them on! Would definitely give this 5 stars if I could. Now for the not so good: I read product descriptions, reviews etc CAREFULLY before buying ANYTHING from Revain so I'm almost never surprised when I receive items. The seller's description stated THEY ARE SUITABLE FOR 2G piercings. Several questions and answers said it would fit the 2G firmware. I've been wearing fairly hefty 2G horseshoe/curved barbell earrings for a while now, so my ears are DEFINITELY at least 2G tight. But when I held my new piece of jewelery to my ear, it was immediately apparent that the open ends of the weights - the part that needs to be inserted into the hole - expand to a diameter closer to 0G or even 00G, if not a bit more ! The THINNEST part of the hoop *might* fit in a 2G ear, but it might be no use to me if I can't push the damn thing into the piercing I bought it for. I've included a photo of the item in question next to the flat end (connector removed) of my current 2G earring for comparison. You'll see that the pasted sections are nowhere near the same size. I *AM* still straining my ears and planned on going to at least 0/00. So I still have no idea what I'm going to do with these beautiful pieces. Do I leave them in the hope that once I get to the size that finally fits them, I'll want to wear them and stretch my ears further? Can I trade them in for a style that matches a 2G piercing so I can wear them now? I'll think about it for a few days. But at the same time I sincerely hope that the seller will provide more accurate measurements for these items so people can be sure of what they are getting and avoid the disappointment I just experienced. Any time a part is flared at both ends, users need to know the diameter of the flare, NOT the diameter of the thinnest part. Had the item been listed in THAT size, I would have known I would have bought a different version with a thinner end. All in all this is a nice item that looks like it will last and look nice. But if you're in 2G and want to stretch more like me, maybe buy another option with a thinner plug-in end. However, if you have 00 or so and want to get even further, this is a great option! Willing to update rating if seller solves above issues.
