I love this design. I have a matte black that can look like slate gray in some light, but goes well with my MacBook Pro Space Gray. The fit was perfect with no issues. It practically doesn't increase the volume of the device, which is good since this is already a large laptop. The keyboard protector fits well, stays in place, and stays in place even with the lid closed. Also, it doesn't interfere with typing in any way - it's a thin flexible silicone(?), which is also very handy. The privacy slider was a blip - it wouldn't let me close the lid flush, and the slider popped out within 60 seconds, so I threw it away. But that was not the reason for the purchase. The case is excellent. Mine had a tiny scratch down the middle which is noticeable as it matches the Apple logo perfectly. But at this price it's not enough to send it back. Good business.
