As soon as I took it out of the box I knew it would probably be returned. One of the back seams of the bottom drawer is not taped - just covered with an outer rug. I collected it anyway. The inner circle was almost impossible to repair and does not fit as shown in the photos. Two canvas straps hung from it, which I could not understand. When I assembled it it looked ok but there was no durability. It seemed everything would tip over if the cat tried to reach the top platform. One of my cats (about 10 pounds) confirmed this when he first jumped. The lower part needs some kind of weight or counterweight, otherwise the whole thing will topple over every time the cat moves. I wasn't interested in filling the floor of the apartment with weights for this, so I returned it. Honestly, I wouldn't even get it for a kitten. I would be afraid that one good jump up and everyone would fall over no matter what.
