Huge mistake for Garmin in this case!

I would like to start by saying that I am an enthusiastic Garmin customer. As a pro athlete, I had loads of watches and bike computers, which is great. I decided to try this scale to keep track of my weight and body fat percentage. Having already used other products in the Garmin family, I was willing to pay a little more, although there are far cheaper options. From the start, the scale was not easy to set up for multiple users. I'm tech savvy, and even being familiar with Garmin Connect, adding another family member was a major pain. Touching the weight in any way will show random and erroneous measurements. The final straw was that the scales "wisely" mistook my profile for that of another member of my family, even though the difference between us is over 10 pounds! Within a week of use the scale was either confusing both of us or removing another added profile which we set up 3 times to help the scale when in doubt! Needless to say, the Libra is back. I have since purchased other scales that are accurate and easy to use. And that's part of the cost! I am very disappointed in Garmin for this product. Considering it's been out for a while, these bugs should have been fixed a long time ago. There are much better weight options out there that track the same data for athletes, aren't as frustrating, and cost a lot less money!

Pros
  • understandable even for the old one
Cons
  • some problems
