Review on Three Sheets Glitter Iron Transfer by Jennifer Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It worked fine for me. First time using Glitter HTV

This was my first time using HTV. 'Grass' is a great green 'crayon', more yellow than blue. I used my silhouette to cut out a rather intricate Celtic shamrock for a black cotton t-shirt. It cuts beautifully, weeds easily, and lays onto a shirt with a household iron at maximum power. I used a piece of parchment paper as a teflon sheet between the transfer pad and the iron. I've washed the shirt inside out twice, hung it up to dry, no problems peeling it off yet. There was no instruction which settings for which machine. I've searched online and found several references to Glitter HTV in general. Here's what I did. New blade on Silhouette Cameo, *no cutting mat*, smooth/shiny side DOWN - blunt back up, settings per Brad Martin Youtube "Cameo Cutter - Cutting Out Glitter Heat Transfer Letters" @ 4:07. Blade 3, speed 5, thickness 10, double cut. More experienced crafters may have different settings, but these are not mentioned here.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • boring packaging
