Rugged waterproof camera

I bought this in July to kayak in flat and white water. I gotta say I beat that thing to death and it's still going strong. It's definitely waterproof as long as you make sure it's properly sealed. I always attach a swim band to it because I've dropped it into running water more than once. The life belt saves lives because the camera sinks. I've also dropped it on hard ground more times than I can count. Something always comes out. Image quality is good, not fantastic, but my shots are far better than any other waterproof camera I've seen. I rarely use it for videos but am thinking of finding a way to mount it on my kayak since my friends have so many problems with their expensive Go Pros. The battery life is solid. I have enough for 2-3 days off and maybe 1 day on heavy use. If you need a good outdoor camera, especially for water, this is a good choice. I was very happy with it
