- This is described as borosilicate glass so I expected it to look like Pyrex. "But it's not Pyrex at all. The glass is so thin I can bend it with my fingers! Very bizarre, I've never been able to do this with a can. I am very worried that they will break or break. It's not actually 7 ounces - only if you fill it to the brim, which of course isn't possible with the lid closed. With the lid closed, its capacity is only 6 oz. These bamboo lids are VERY susceptible to mold. Make sure whatever you store in there is dry, I mean super dry - no moisture, not even dried fruit or oats. Lids are NOT sealed. They're probably enough to keep air and moths out, but don't think they're airtight. Otherwise they are cute, love the labels that come with them but they have a few caveats.
