This jewelry cabinet had the 3 qualities I was looking for: size, lockability and mirror finish. One reviewer mentioned that he would like the cabinet to be wall mounted from the inside. I really had the same thought. After installing it in my dressing room, I removed the top of the storage ring a bit and used a small drill to drill it down to the wall at the back. Then I removed it from the wall, drilled slightly larger pilot holes and hammered it into the spring loaded metal wall anchors. I then reinstalled the cabinet and used a drill to drive the mounting screws into the wall anchors. Half an inch from the back of the cabinet interior, I tapped them with a hammer and continued to tighten until the cabinet really locked into the wall. I was able to easily move the floor away from the wall and attach a long strip of thick double-sided gel adhesive to add extra stability and security. I thought of checking my closet. Not that I have expensive items, but I feel better with the added protection.
