Review on 🚗 Energy Suspension 3-1171R 1999-2010 Chevy/GMC Transmission Mount by Mike Devine

I'm sure it's a great product but it didn't work the way I wanted it to for my application. I replaced the original transmission mount on my 2006 Sierra 1500 2WD 4.8L and once installed I felt more vibration than my old mount. I feel the strongest vibrations when I start accelerating and they go away at a constant speed. This is likely to be more useful for those using a 5.3 liter or larger engine. Polymer is a lot stiffer than rubber so I probably felt there was a lot more vibration being transmitted through the truck. Must stay with the original bracket.
