I bought this briefcase because I was attending a leadership seminar and was fed up with my worn and versatile black laptop bag. While the laptop bag helped me get through college and the first few years of my professional life (it's built to last, I can tell you that), it lacked the style and level of professionalism I need at this point in my career. I was not disappointed. There was a slight smell when I first opened it, but that dissipated within a few hours, after which I enjoyed the bag for a whole week without any problems. There are many pockets and I love the design of the front flap pocket. I kept pens, a hotel key, cell phone and other quick access items there. My laptop (large 15.6" gaming pc) was a bit cramped, but everything worked fine. The interior is quite spacious. Best of all: TWO ladies from the seminar liked it so much that they ordered it for themselves. It's definitely an upgrade for the boring nylon laptop bag!
