Fits many small toys
The sides are made of wood and the long sticks are made of 2 metal parts that clip together to form longer sticks. The assembly is very simple. It seems pretty solid, but I wouldn't fill it with anything exceptionally heavy. We filled it with smaller plastic and wooden toys as much as possible. It holds quite a few small toys (about 5 inches or so), but medium-sized toys are too big to throw in the bin, so we keep these and larger toys in a large toy chest. The containers themselves are made out of thick, durable plastic, not the flimsy, cheap stuff you see at the dollar store.
