Review on ETUDE HOUSE Dr. Mascara Fixer: Perfect Lash 01 (Natural Volume Up) - Long-lasting, Smudge-Proof Korean Makeup with Care Effect by Jessica Shakman

NOTE: I'm Asian and have typically short, short, hard-to-curl lashes. My lashes don't respond well to lots of lashes and oily eyes cause lots of mascara to slip off at the end of the day. I've been trying to find mascara bases that help with this. I found this on the recommendation of an Asian Youtuber. It's better than PMEL's mascara base. This gel comes out so white and clumpy that it completely ruins the lashes with whatever you put on them. This mascara base is really good BUT ONLY WITH SPECIFIC CARCASES! My tried and true Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara and it's the ONLY mascara that can hold my lashes all day. However, when I use this base along with it, it gets very clumpy. I tried the volumizing Lash Paradise and it came out the same. IF YOU WANT TO USE THIS, only use with natural mascara. I have Glossier Lash Slick which is considered a lighter weight mascara and when I use it with this base the mascara lasts MUCH longer than usual and helps maintain the curls. I also have Innisfree Skinny Waterproof Mascara, which works better with this base. This base only really works if you have a mascara formula with less volume and more length. The tube itself contains very little product. When I first received it, I was surprised at how tightly I could squeeze the tube. Felt very airy. There is very little product here and I'm almost done with it considering I've only used it about 15 times. Which is quite a lot. TLDR: Works best with lengthening mascaras. There is very little product in it. However, it keeps the curls much longer. Okay, I'll probably buy again until I find best value for money.
