Take a look at the photos I posted. The Bad: I received the shoe with a tear in the skin of the left shoot where it is sewn together. I noticed it right away but didn't know what it was until I went to a local shoemaker. She asked if the shoes were "second hand" and if I paid full selling price. I told her I paid full selling price and she said that was unacceptable. Worse still, the right heel stand is 1 cm higher than the left one. It hurt from day one. I tried blowing it apart, did everything that the Allen Edmonds website recommended, and then I noticed this problem. Last Bad: See my last picture, the stitching comes out of the left boot and there was a tear in the leather on the side. . I wear galoshes, I work in an office building. I've never seen anything like it and I've only worn cheaper shoes made from worse leather. What's good: The left shoe was comfortable and seemed to fit well from day one. Other than the above issues, they seemed to be of good quality otherwise. Unfortunately I will be sending them back. This was my first purchase of quality shoes and I am disappointed. I've read a lot about how higher quality shoes can last ten years or more. Mine lasted a few weeks. Back to cheaper shoes for me.
