All the reviewers before me agree that it's a beauty. And yes, underneath you can see the radiant and alluring apple. I've never seen so many reviewers saying they can't steer clear of a product with a serious flaw. The corners are plastic, but the front and back are a nice rubberized material. There are three MacBook Pro laptops in the house. All are color coded. (A juicy color palette.) It's literally a bolt to bolt. Unfortunately, during the day, without swearing, not to mention something catastrophic, the corners broke off. Tried to glue. Not! This is a design flaw. Customer service was very responsive, but! Speck raised prices due to popularity. I protested. So should you, until they reinforce those corners and lower the price. Now I have the fifth - and I work in kid gloves. So disappointing. Dear bacon --- do something about it.
