It's thick enough to protect both sides but still has plenty of room to breathe. It doesn't stick to mouth/lips like other masks, especially when speaking. The elastic is comfortable enough not to hurt the back of your ears but firm enough to keep the mask in place. The seller took the time to leave a note to explain how his masks were made to strict standards. I would buy these products again for the team I work with.
