I like everything so far, the color is perfect. After installing my new SSD and replacing the bottom of my MBP, it took me a while to figure out how to fit the bottom of the cover. You must first place the safety edges next to the hinge and then snap the front piece in place, otherwise the back edges will not snap. Spring. Everything is good that finally goes well. No deep ugly bluish purple like many iPad cases. Someone in another review said the keyboard cover was too dark to show the keys, but this keyboard cover has crisp letters in the darker purple keys, so that's not a problem. Although the color of the keyboard cover could have been a lighter purple to match the top. I was never 100% happy with the other cover I bought (marbled) because it was gray marble and not white marble which would have been fine but wasn't. And the lining on the bottom came off immediately, at least two, which got upset. Once I install my new SSD drive I'll put it on the underside, but so far so good.
