iOttie Easy One Touch Mini CD Slot Car Stand is a good product. The only weak point for me, however, is the strength of the spring-loaded and rubberized adjustable grip portion of the phone. That's enough, but IMHO the adjustable grip itself could do with being a bit stiffer or maybe have a way to lock the phone in place when it's at the right angle. My phone (i-Phone 4S in a hard and smooth case for optics) doesn't usually fall out, but I have a feeling it can happen, especially in the event of a quick or sudden stop. However, I can easily wrap the elastic around the padded adjustable part (and behind the phone in the case, of course) to hold the phone in place more securely. A click-lock feature that keeps your smartphone and case securely in place eliminates that need. On the plus side, the phone mount (the part that fits into the CD slot) is pretty solid and very solid. I rate this CD holder as great! In addition, the softphone holder outside of the CD slot can be easily adjusted to hold the phone at precisely the desired horizontal and vertical angles to meet the specific needs of the driver and/or passengers in the vehicle. In other words, as a driver, I can pull off the road at a rest stop, for example, and then sit down and have a full visual conversation without having to pick up my phone. In addition, the installed phone mount can be easily adjusted so that the passenger, that is, someone sitting in the passenger seat, can have a fully visual conversation on a smartphone or even watch a video while the car is moving along the road. Freeway. My Opinion: This mount is better than cup holders because it is much more adjustable but needs a better grip on the phone. It can be replaced with a simple rubber band, so I would recommend it to other phone holders.
