We followed the instructions and first soaked the "jellyfish” in washing-up liquid for a few days. Then, after rinsing, I soaked it in water for an additional day and a half - so that the soap was washed off. (For those who don't already have it, a soak in dish soap should soften the jellyfish so they swim more realistically. Then, also as instructed, I used purified bottled water to fill the tank to make sure there weren't any unwanted ones There is debris that would leave residue in the tank It was all good The reason I got 3 stars is because it worked perfectly after the first night, the light came on the second night but the fan stirred the water to get the jellyfish to swim didn't work Surprisingly it started working again after a few nights and has worked since then mostly but not 100% of the time, seems to need a break every now and then.. bright colors nice and mine Son likes to choose a new color every night but the first night there was an option to have him rotate between colors but that didn't happen from the first night t works. Everything is fine just picking a color for n oh but since this was an ad. The original idea was that it rotates, I wanted to add that information for you.
